It takes time to write a book, doesn't it?
I am completing my book, Sacred Animal Wisdom, A Handbook for the
Human Heart, and have been thinking of you and the Grandmothers. I have
used quotes from your wonderful book. In fact, I use the Grandmother's
wisdom and instructions on the feminine paradigm as a model of how the
reader is to move through the workbook. Thank you so much again for this
wonderful contribution to the harmonizing of our world.
For me, the Grandmother's message ties together the last 25 years
of study, experience, and search. I met Grandmother Twylah, the Seneca
elder from Buffalo, in the early 80's and we have spread her wisdom
to all of our students over the years. Two years ago, we reformulated
our Woman Wisdom weekends for young girls, spurred on by the fact that
my granddaughter turned 12. I led the day with the girls on animal
wisdom. When I began to come back from a meditation that I did, I saw
Twylah at the door. I couldn't focus on her then, but later received a
message from an intuitive and friend. Twylah expressed pleasure regarding
the class and said, You have no idea how much the young ones need
this.
We just returned from a conference at Omega and learned of the 13
indigenous Grandmothers from all corners of the globe who meet and
teach. Here is a quote from the magazine, Worldpulse. We are
standing in the vibration of a sacred prophecy. The prophecy tells us
that consciousness is preparing the spirit of the feminine, the spirit of
the grandmothers. In the prophecy, we shall walk into the light united
from the four directions. Flordemayo, indigenous grandmother from
the highlands of Central America.
Isn't it exciting to be here for what Twylah has called, 'The Greatest
Spiritual Evolution the earth has ever known?' or... Grandmothers rock,
as my grandchildren might say.
Thanks again for letting me use the quotes!!!!
Many blessings,
Suzanne King
