Starting a New Group. I have a deep sense of trust that the Grandmothers will "take over" and use me as an instrument. I've been actively invoking their guidance, help and inspiration since I read your two books - their presence is especially felt during my therapy sessions with my clients. I LOVE knowing that they'll be present in the higher dimensions above our house when our circle gathers together!

The Meaning of Femininity. I have been longing for this strengthening of feminine energy for a very long time ever since my youth or even adolescence. I grew up in a family with too many men - my father and four brothers and had to wear my brothers' grown out clothes due to our family poverty (and thus forced to look like a boy). I saw very little of my sister who married very young at 19 when I was 10, my mother worked too much and behaved like a general (when she had to deal with my naughty brothers), I never had the example of a real woman.

Net of Light Project. Just this week I figured out what to do with the lace tablecloth that my deceased 92 year old Aunt Olga lovingly crocheted for my mother's dining room table in the 1930's. I decided it was the perfect symbol for the "net of light." It is approximately 74"x92". There is a large hole and some smaller tears, that I'm told cannot be repaired with crochet. There is also now a brown stain, which I had been trying to soak out, until it occurred to me that this is a perfect example of our current "net of light": lovingly created...holy...stained.

Finding the Grandmothers. I enjoy the company and energy of the grandmothers in my days and nights. It's wonderful to feel them holding me, comforting me whenever I ask them to. Their arms are around me instantly.

Giving and Receiving. I've found in my women's group that the women are very used to nurturing others but not themselves. So I include some self nurture activities. And from my own experience of A Call to Power, nurture and healing of the self plays a huge part in touching the divine light that is within ourselves and then coming from this place of light in all our perceptions and actions within our world.

Annelies - Some weeks ago a friend gave me your book. She had
bought it, but had had no time to read it yet. so I did and I am deeply
impressed. For some time now it is becoming clear to me that it is really
time that we, as women, become ourselves again. The only problem is:

Vida - I received grandmothers empowerment and decided to
share it with women, close to me. I was in meditation at 9:30 on Sunday
in Lithuania, sending Net of Light to women, who I call to ceremony. My
sister was meditating at her home (100 km far away) at the same time...

liked the passages on the yang-commercialization of the teachings and
workshops on the Sacred Feminine - I had exactly the same feelings as
the Grandmothers point out in their message.

Kazuko - I am an Animal Communicator/Healer, in practice for
over seventeen years. Overnight, the Grandmothers dramatically influenced
my sessions with animals. When I received the Empowerment, I heard the
group leader say we would be receiving our heart's desires from the
Grandmothers and they know what we needed, but if we had a special wish,
we could request it. I received the quality of gentleness well before
I even asked.

Margie - Sharon asked those of us at the last
Grandmothers' study group to share how the Grandmothers have changed
or influenced our lives. The first words that came to mind for me were
Caring, Comfort, Compassion, and Confidence.

Tambra - I just finished "A Call to Power: the Grandmothers
Speak." I am amazed that I had not seen this before. All my life I
have been trying to seek God. I was born into a Christian home and took
all ceremony to be a Christian but it was just words and pressure to be
what my parents wanted me to be. However it did not explain how I had
visions and could see things others could not or how I could heal.

Nicoline - I have not yet started a Grandmothers' group,
however, I was assisting a summer week of the Dances of Universal Peace
here in Holland and there the Grandmothers (and I) were able to empower
around twenty women and give the cloak of comfort to three men.

Lin - I was chosen to be part of a birth team by a friend of
mine who was due to give birth last November. The idea came that the women
on the birth team (minus her midwife) could receive the Grandmothers'
Empowerment so we could have an even more cohesive, nurturing group,
with the Grandmothers on board!
