Ireland Call to Power
Message to all Lovers of the Earth
Now is the time for the power of the Feminine Principle to awaken. At present the energies of Yin and Yang on our beloved planet are out of balance, placing life in danger. When the Great Council of the Grandmothers first appeared to Sharon McErlane, they said, “The time to return to balance is now and for this, women must lead. It can be no other way.” (A Call to Power: the Grandmothers Speak).
The Grandmothers are calling us to gather in Ireland in order to draw the lighted places there (many sacred sites in Ireland) to the Net of Light. These lighted places need to be linked at this time. Their connection will amplify the power of the Net of Light that is holding our planet. The event in Cork will be a true Call to Power--for all participating individuals as well as for the land of Ireland. Sharon will pass on the Grandmothers’ Empowerment and we will work extensively with the Net of Light to awaken the energy of Yin within each person present and in the land. “Each one who opens to this work,” the Grandmothers say, “makes of themselves a reservoir of Yin energy for all beings. They become a walking blessing upon the Earth.”

2010 Gathering of the Grandmothers
Once again we gathered in Laguna Beach at the Aliso Creek Inn, gathered at the Mother Rock and connected to the power point on the medicine wheel for the western states.
Sandra de Graaf from Holland led us in working with the forces of Yin and Yang with body movements and dance. Lis Addison, performance artist from the San Francisco Bay area, taught us how to use sound and song for healing. Mira Michele presented her work with the Sacred Female Rising in Germany.
Individuals and mother-daughter pairs came to learn how to live the power of Yin, strengthen the Net of Light, and build communion and community. We danced, sang, received the Grandmothers’ Blessings, and in sitting in small and large circles, we strengthened our bond. A weekend of love, joy and sharing, we arrived as strangers and left with a deepened connection to the Grandmothers and to each other. We hope that those who could not attend, will join us next year.

The Grandmothers say that due to human ignorance and misunderstanding, at present there are rips and gauges in the Net of Light that holds the earth. Since it is the Net of Light that will steady the planet during the times of change that are upon us, this is a serious problem.
Each participant will be given a unique job assignment as we work to uphold the earth. |

2009 Gathering of the Grandmothers
The third Gathering of the Grandmothers in the U.S. was attended by women from America and Europe. We met at the Aliso Creek Inn in Laguna Beach, California and entered into ceremony for ourselves and our ancestors at a sacred rock area at the beach. Although we arrived from different parts of the world, in a short time, we bonded together and created a web of sisters, daughters, mothers, and grandmothers of the earth. In the end we learned that we are all forerunners for the Grandmothers. "You are our message," they said. There is no question that we will return to the Inn in Laguna next March.

Gathering of the Grandmothers in Belgium and The Netherlands, Nov.
2008.
Sharon held a Gathering of the Grandmothers on Nov. 1 in Antwerp,
Belgium and on Nov. 2 in Zutphen, the Netherlands. The Gatherings were
be all day events where participants learned how to work directly
with the Great Council of the Grandmothers as well as with the Net of
Light that is supporting the earth through the difficult times in which
we are living.

Gathering of the Grandmothers, March 2008. More than 80 women
and a few men celebrated the message of the Grandmothers at a lush and
ancient canyon overlooking the sea in Laguna Beach. With song and dance,
mediation and thoughtful group discussions, we deepened our connection
with the Grandmothers and with each other.

Grandmothers Call in Rhode Island - August 9. Living the Grandmothers'
Message Now. "The present imbalance of energy on Earth has
placed all life in danger," the Grandmothers say. "It is time
to return to balance, and for this, women must lead."
One-day Grandmothers' workshop with Sharon August 9, 2008 in
Providence, R.I. Workshop on how to amplify the power of the great
Net of Light that holds the earth during the times of change that are
upon us. Learn how to work directly with the Council of the Grandmothers
and deepen your understanding of and union with them.

Gathering of the Grandmothers. The first Gathering of the
Grandmothers was held in Laguna Beach, California May 4,5, and 6. Women
from across the United States and England gathered to share love and
wisdom with one another and strengthen the Net of Light that is holding
the earth steady during these difficult times. The Gathering was
joyous, powerful, and magnified the presence of the Grand Mothers
within each woman. The first of many Grandmothers' events to come.

Grandmothers Return to Lithuania. Sharon returned
to Lithuania at the end of May to help direct Grandmothers’ groups
that have sprung up in that country since her first trip there. She
held empowerment ceremonies in four cities and taught the people
of that country how to access and work with the Great Council
of the Grandmothers.

Gathering of the Grandmothers in Lithuania
Grandmothers go to the Netherlands. In June Sharon
visited the Netherlands to work with a group of women who are creating
a Grandmothers’ workbook and project book in Dutch. She also
held a Grandmothers’ Empowerment in Delft. Jenneken Berends,
who runs the Grandmothers’ group in Delft, directed the
Dutch project.
No More Counting. As of spring, 2007, over 2000
women have received the Grandmothers' Empowerment and many men have
received the Cloak of Comfort. Sharon is delighted to announce that she
is officially giving up counting now as there are over 40 Grandmothers'
groups in the U.S. and around the world, that she can no longer keep up
with the numbers. What a wonderful problem.
More Notes from Sharon
Grandmothers Help Marriages. I am hearing reports
of improved communication and greater closeness from husbands and wives
who have received the Grandmothers' Empowerment and Cloak of Comfort. I
have not compiled statistics on this phenomenon yet, but something
good is happening in these marriages. The Grandmothers tell us that
as the energy of yin fills a person, a relationship or a situation,
everything benefits. This seems to be happening in these homes.
A quantum physicist from Lithuania is working on a machine to
infuse the energy of yin into planet earth. I passed the Cloak
of Comfort to Edmundas and several other physicists, architects and
builders when I was in Lithuania in May. He later told me that before
receiving the Cloak of Comfort, he had lived only through his brain
but now that his heart was open he wanted to do something for humanity
and for the earth. This is a man who is well-respected in his field,
has appeared on Lithuanian television and believes that he can invent
a small torsion generator that will hold and broadcast the energy of
the Great Mother. He is working on it now.
The powerful Gayatri mantra, the world's oldest prayer, has
made its way from a Grandmothers' meeting in Laguna Beach, Ca. to an army
base in Iraq. A member of the Laguna Beach Grandmothers' group
purchased a tape of the Gayatri at the November Grandmothers' meeting,
converted it to a CD and sent it on to her daughter who is stationed in
Baghdad. Sathya Sai Baba who chants the Gayatri on the tape states that
the mantra will purify and protect he or she who chants it. The woman
who originally bought the tape says that her daughter is playing it
nearly non-stop. Other soldiers are listening to it too and some are
copying it. Even the platoon commander is listening to the Gayatri!
